Claim Process

Terms & Conditions – Me Secure by Renuka Enterprise

  1. The Offer is valid from date of activation product by application of assured smart phone handset unit only(excluding charger, battery on stand-alone basis and all other accessories)and sum assured will be applicable as cost of handset unit as evidenced by relevant proof of purchase, provided that it has legal IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) Identification and / or Serial Number and / or it is fitted and used with a SIM Card (being a card or other medium carrying the Owners identity, use of which in conjunction with the Equipment and enables calls to be charged to the Owner’s account) issued to the Owner/Owner ‘s spouse or Owners dependent children; from the time the Owner legally purchased the phone for valid consideration and at the same time opted to be covered under the scheme of Assurance. Customer has to be purchased Assurance in 03 day from the handset purchased.
  2. The Offer is valid on purchase of only Smart Phone of any brand/make handset unit which purchase in India (excluding charger, battery on stand-alone basis and all other accessories).
  3. The Offer can be valid on purchase of the Product from e-commerce websites.
  4. The Offer shall give 12 months protection to the Customer’s handset unit against partial, physical, Fully damage, liquid damage and theft case. The Customer shall also be eligible to get other benefits such as Anti Virus, Lifelong data backup, SOS Alert, which is not available for iPhone, Blackberry or conditional OS manufacturing handset unit by brand/make where their implemented limitation of non operating third party application.
  5. On purchase of the product during the offer period the Customer shall be given a paper card/Voucher bearing a Code. Customer shall have to use the Activation Code (given to him through the paper card/voucher) and register on the ME SECURE application within 03 days of the handset unit purchase invoice date.
  6. Customer shall be required to follow the steps given below for:
    1. Purchase and activate the Product within 03 days of purchase of handset unit.
    2. Download the ME SECURE Application from Google Play store on his/her Product so purchased and activated (as (a) above) within 03 days from the date of the purchase invoice of handset unit.
    3. Register with his/her all correct details & enter the promo code within 3 days from the date of the invoice.
    4. Upon successful verification of Customer details by ME SECURE, the Product (phone) of the Customer will be activated with ME SECURE in two working days from the dateof registration on the ME SECURE Application.
  • ME SECURE product is provided by RENUKA ENTERPRISE with the support of u NATIONAL Assurance COMPANY LIMITED, at their sole discretion and any claims, responsibilities, liabilities etc, on the same lies solely and exclusively against ME SECURE only.
  • Under no circumstances shall RENUKA ENTERPRISE and/or its affiliates and/or their directors, officers, agents, sales channel or employees be held responsible for any part or whole of the ME SECURE package offer.

CLAIM SETTLEMENT PROCESS

Repair of Partial Damaged Handset

  1. To registers the claim, the customer:
    1. Intimate within 48hrs to ME SECURE customer care on  # 0265 2331768 and registered unique claim number. OR
    2. Logs in the claim on our websitemeesecure.com
  2. On Registering, a Claim Receipt Number (CRN) will be generated.
  3. Customer gets the Repair quotation from the Authorized Service Centre of his Handset OEM.
  4. Customer to email the following documents toclaim@meesecure.com OR documents can beuploaded through our website.
    1. Photocopy of Original Bill
    2. Self Attested Photo Id Proof
    3. Repair Quotation from brand authorized service center.
    4. 3 Photos of the damaged Handset (One of them must show the Internal phone IMEI)
    5. Assurance claim Form (1C)
    6. Incident Report (2C)
    7. Claim Discharge Voucher (3C)
    8. Cancelled Cheque / Bank Pass Book Copy (Required Claimant Name)
  5. Assurance Company will review the documents within 72 Hours
  6. If the Claim Approvedon Repair Basis, the customer has to send the all Original documents duly signed by claimant along with Damaged Parts to Renuka Enterprise at 801/A, Sterling Centre,RCDutt Rd,VishwasColony,Alkapuri, Vadodara, Gujarat 390007.
    1. If Claim having required, some more clarifications the customer will be intimated and asked to submit relevant additional documentation as per Assurance company norms.
    2. If Claim Rejected / Repudiated by Assurance Company, then there is no liability of Me Secure OR Renuka Enterprise.
  7. On Pre-Approval, the customer shall get the repair work executed from same service center, and settle the repair bill directly to the Service Centre collect the Original Repair Invoice along with Damaged Parts and courier to above mentioned address within 15days after approval date. If any claimant fails to submit required documents within TAT , then Me Secure reserve the rights to denied the claim as non- submission of documents within define timeline.
  8. Customer has to courier the following documents in hard copy, to Renuka Enterprise at 801/A, Sterling Centre,RCDutt Rd,VishwasColony,Alkapuri, Vadodara, Gujarat 390007.
    1. Photocopy of Original Purchase Invoice
    2. Self-Attested Photo Id Proof
    3. Repair Quotation from brand authorized service center.
    4. 3 Photos of the damaged Handset (One of them must show the Internal phone IMEI)
    5. Assurance claim Form (1C)
    6. Incident Report (2C)
    7. Claim Discharge Voucher (3C)
    8. Cancelled Cheque / Bank Pass Book Copy (Required Claimant Name)
    9. Covering Letter.
  9. Customer can call ME SECURE’s  on 0265 2331768 to check status of his claim or els he can login to our website with unique claim number provided through call centre.
  10. ME SECURE shall facilitate the claim process within 21 working days from the date of submission of documents. The claim amount will be settled after deducting an Policy Excess fee of 5% of the Sum assured or INR 1000 whichever is higher, as per NATIONAL Assurance CO. LTD.

CLAIM SETTLEMENT PROCESS Total Loss of Damaged Handset and THEFT Case.

  1. To registers the claim, the customer:
    1. Intimate within 48hrs to ME SECURE customer care on 0265 2331768 and registered unique claim number. OR
    2. Logs in the claim on our website www.meesecure.com
  2. On Registering, a Claim Receipt Number (CRN) will be generated.
  3. Customer gets the Repair quotation from the Authorized Service Centre of his Handset OEM.
  4. In the event of Theft, Customer has to visit nearest police station within 48hrs , where he/she has to take FIR/Intimation report duly signed by officer with their contact number and at the same time claimant has to intimate Service Provider for blocking of sim and need to get blocking reference number with SIM BLOCKING LETTER on service provider’s letter head duly signed and stamp from them.
  5. In the event of Theft, after pre-approval claimant has to submit Indemnity Bond on Rs.100/- stamp paper with notary.
  6. Customer to email the following documents to claim@meesecure.com OR documents can beuploaded through our website.
    1. Original Purchase Invoice with Retailer Stamp.
    2. Self-Attested Photo Id Proof
    3. Repair Quotation from brand authorized service center.
    4. 3 Photos of the damaged Handset (One of them must show the Internal phone IMEI)
    5. Assurance claim Form (1C)
    6. Incident Report (2C)
    7. Claim Discharge Voucher (3C)
    8. Cancelled Cheque / Bank Pass Book Copy (Required Claimant Name)

 

  1. Assurance Company will review the documents within 72 Hours.

If the claim Approvedon Total Loss / Theft Basis, the customer has to send the all Original documents duly signed by claimant along with Damaged Parts to Renuka Enterprise at 801/A, Sterling Centre,RCDutt Rd,VishwasColony,Alkapuri, Vadodara, Gujarat 390007.

  1. If Claim having required, some more clarifications the customer will be intimated and asked to submit relevant additional documentation as per Assurance company norms.
  2. If Claim Rejected / Repudiated by Assurance Company, then there is no liability of Me Secure OR Renuka Enterprise.
  3. In case of Theft only forcible entry / exit or Snatching will be covered by Assurance Company and Assurance company may asked for more documents from claimant if required.
  1. On Pre-Approval, the customer will send all Original Documents along with Damaged Handset, Box, Accessories and courier to above mentioned address within 15days after approval date. If any claimant fails to submit required documents within TAT, then Me Secure reserve the rights to denied the claim as non- submission of documents within define timeline.
  2. Documents to be Submitted :
    1. Original Purchase Invoice with Retailer Stamp & Signature.
    2. Self Attested Photo Id Proof
    3. “Handset Non Repairable Letter” and Original Repair Estimate duly signed & Stamp by Authorized Service center.
    4. 3 Photos of the damaged Handset (One of them must show the phone internal IMEI number)
    5. Damaged Phone with all Accessories and Box,
      1. Assurance claim Form (1C)
      2. Incident Report (2C)
  • Claim Discharge Voucher (3C)
  1. Cancelled Cheque / Bank Pass Book Copy (Required Claimant Name)
  1. In Theft Case:all above mentioned original documents along with Box / Accessories send it to Renuka Enterprise – Vadodara Address.
  1. Customer can call ME SECURE’s on 0265 2331768 to check status of his claim.
  2. ME SECURE shall facilitate the claim process within 30 working days from the date of submission of documents. The claim amount will be settled after deducting Depreciation as per slabs defined by NATIONAL Assurance CO. LTD.
  3. The claim amount will be settled after deduction.
    1. Excess fee of the Sum assured of 5% or INR 1000/- whichever is Higher.
    2. Depreciation as below @
      • 0-180 days @ 35 %
      • 181-365 days @ 55%
  1. For Total Loss / Theft Cases Invoice Value as reduced by depreciation.

Main Exclusions under Policy:

  • Costs implicitly or explicitly covered by any manufacturers, suppliers or repairers guarantee orwarranty.
  • Non-operating and cosmetic damage to the Product, such as damage to paintwork, Product finish, dents or scratches and to the plastic and rubberparts.
  • Accessories used in or with theProduct.
  • Replacement of consumable item or accessory like, plugs, batteries, light bulbs, light covers, ribbons, software and add-on options incorporated in a Product for which the Service Contract waspurchased
  • Normal wear and tear of items not integral to the functioning of the Product.
  • Routine maintenance and cleaning.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repair, battery leakage, animal or insect infestation orintrusion.
  • Damage resulting from power outage, power surges or dips, fluctuating voltage, inadequate or improper voltage or current. Plumbing, water lines connected to the appliance but not internal toit
  • Cost of removal or re-installation of theProduct.
  • Reception or transmission problems resulting from externalcauses.
  • Problems or defects otherwise covered under the original manufacturer’s Warranty/Guarantee.
  • Batteries, internal or external to the Product. (m)Recalls or modifications to theProduct.
  • Failure to follow the manufacturer’sinstructions.
  • Costs arising from incorrect installation, modification ormaintenance.
  • Costs if no fault is found with the Product.
  • Costs arising from being unable to use the Product or from damage which results from the Breakdown of theMobile/Tablets.
  • Useofbatteries,chargerand/oraccessoriesnotapprovedbythe manufacturer, incorrect electrical leads or
  • The cost of repairing, restoring or reconfiguring
  • Any consequential or incidental damages arising from the use or loss of use of theProduct.
  • On sale of Mobile Phone/Tablets/ Laptops/White Goods to any other person who has not been enrolled on MESECURE.

IMPORTANT EXCLUSIONS:-

  1. Products purchased by a person not resident in India;
  2. Shipping and/or transportation costs or price differences due to shipping, handling costs and sales tax;
  3. The price difference from an advertisement outside of India or in a Duty Free zone.
  4. Items advertised in or as result of “limited quantity,” “going out-of-business sales,” “cash only” or “close out” advertisements, items shown on price lists or price quotes, cost savings as a result of package offer, manufacturer’s coupons, employees discount, or free items, or where the advertised price includes bonus or free offers, special financing, installation or rebate, or one-of-a-kind or other limited offers;
  5. Any price difference found with an item sold as a special deal available only to the members of specific organizations or anywhere not open to the public, such as clubs and associations;
  6. Items purchased for resale, professional, or commercial use;
  7. Items advertised with rebate, redeemable manufacturer’s coupon, or any refund of any sort, in which case your purchase price will be determined by taking into account any such rebate or refund.

 

IMPORTANT GENERAL CONDITIONS:

  1. The lower price must be on a printed advertisement.
  2. The printed advertisement must be published within 30 days of your purchase.
  3. You must contact us about the claim within 7 days of printed advertisement.
  4. Claim payment on any claim will not include merchant’s credit, discount and/or manufacturer’s rebates, shipping and handling fees.
  5. On rejection of any cases by NATIONAL Assurance Co. Ltd., ME SECURE or any agent, staff candidate or and sales channel will not have any liabilities for further process or clearance.
